Episode 41: Purls before swine
What we discussed:

Bootie and Bossy discussed "Purl," a Pixar short animated film about a ball of pink yarn trying to fit into an old boy network at a company called "B.R.O." While we appreciated the film's attempt to tackle the ever present issue of women having to alter themselves to adapt to a male dominated workplace (not to mention all the knitting and crochet puns), we wished the male characters had more depth. That being said, the mere fact that this 8 minute animated film brought up so many points of discussion is a tribute to its artistry.
Other Pixar shorts we recommend: Tin Toy, For the Birds, Float
About the Recipe:
This cheesy savory bread from Dorie Greenspan's book, Around my French Table is scrumptious. Perfect as an aperitif with a glass of wine (for hanging out with Bootie, Bossy, and Kim Davis), as a side with a salad and some egg bites, or for breakfast! It's super versatile and can be whipped up in a snap with whatever cheese and herbs you have one hand.
